Connect tasks with emails
Ability to link a task with an email
Cannot open the app on my a Apple Watch
Is it possible to synchronize gtask together with outlook exchange on-premise solution
I have been using gTasks Pro for a few years, and it was embedded in my Gmail calendar on a Windows computer. One day, an ‘upgrade’ took away many of the functionalities that I previously had (choose which task list, sort by date, etc). His is not an improvement, as indicated by Albert Jansen in February on this thread. Google tasks should AT THE VERY LEAST be as good as my old Pilot from 8 years ago. I desperately want to revert to the ‘pre-update’ versionuntio this is fixed. Does anyone know how I can do that?

I am using GTASKS since 2017. Last year with the older version. I was very happy and satisfied with this older (and FREE and UNLIMITED) version. Some months ago I wanted to install this version on the device of my partner as we use this app for the planning of our work. As this older and free version was not available anymore. I needed to buy this new version, so I did; both for me as for my partner. I wrote two times to the developers that even though it is new and not free, it is NOT AN IMPROVEMENT. My biggest problem is that, sorting data on DATE/PRIORITY the fonts are 1) very small and the information is 2) Not anymore collected under "YESTERDAY, TODAY, and DATES like THURSDAY 8 FEBRUARY etc." I wished I just did not buy this new version and could have the ooder and free version instead. FORGET ABOUT THIS NEW ONE or Please make a modification, as I wrote them and please respond on my request as I asked as well.
"You/I have lost a certain level of quality while showing SORT OPTIONS ON DATE.
In the new version this SORT OPTION has changed into "by date/priority", it was called "by date". The result of this modification is for me (and I suppose for more people) horrible. In fact you sort by date but the dates are hardly readable.

If you were able to email tasks into task, I would seriously consider getting it... then it would do everything that OmniFocus does but cheaper...
Tottaly agree! We need this feature very much!
Gmail allows you to convert an email into a task.
What I do is while you Anne email you got our sent is selected you hit cmd-t on the Mac and Google crests a task with the email subject and a link to the specific email.
Problem: while you can see the email link on gmail tasks you can not see the link on g-task pro
Please fix this urgent
This is a much needed feature. I'm constantly looking for a good task manager that lets me email a task to someone, which gTasks lets you do, and one that allows me to dump an email into a task list and create a new task. If one comes available before you integrate it people will leave gTasks for it. You've got a really good product but people are screaming for this feature. Please help us.
I do this in my own bootleg way by forwarding an email to zapier. zapper has some integration with google tasks (very limited) it's enough to create a new task with the email subject as the task name and a link to the email in the notes.
the links are very ugly, if I could shorten them this would be great perfect.
Yes, you should do this guys!
Yes ! It´s a priority +1 !!!!!
Linking tasks to emails Is arguably the most important feature for PM and task mgt software. Over 70% of work items are still communicated and followed up via email by formal entities. We need to respect the dissimilar platform nature of our workforce, partners and vendors where email continues to be our common link. History, audit ability and records are all possible through "Threading" communications is why we still and will continue to work off email for most of our formal work. I'm considering switching to IQTELL just for this reason. I hope you add this feature and retain me.
